This cat tree is great value for money—the plush material feels a bit cheap and sheds a little, but it feels very sturdy overall, and the plush texture is quite nice; it doesn’t pill like some scratching posts after prolonged use. The main problem with the plush material is that if you accidentally install the post in the wrong position and then pull it out, the plush will be pulled out in a circle, so be careful when assembling it. The cat tree is made of particleboard, but it’s not the cheap kind, and the scratching posts are of good quality. The packaging also includes instructions on how to turn the box into a cat castle, which is a bit silly, but I think the seller understands that cats will love this box, haha. Also, a friendly reminder—this thing has a very strong smell when it first arrives!!! It’s not the usual plastic smell, nor is it a particularly unpleasant smell; it’s more like the common chemical smell of polyester fur, but very strong. If possible, it’s best to leave it outdoors to air out for a day or two! It wobbles a bit, but it comes with straps to secure it to the wall, and it doesn’t seem like it will easily fall over. This is because it’s relatively tall and the base is small, so it doesn’t take up much space, making it worth the price. Additionally, it’s well-suited for small or medium-sized cats, but if your cat is larger, you might need to choose a different model. My photos show two cats—one weighing 7 pounds and the other 15 pounds—so you can get a general idea of their weight. Overall, this is a very cost-effective cat tree, a great option for those on a budget or with limited space.
