Description
The Hess Collection’s Allomi Estate Vineyard lies in the gently rolling hills of north-eastern Napa Valley. In the 1970’s, founder Donald Hess knew that high on Mount Veeder would be home to some of Napa Valley’s best Cabernet Sauvignon. Passion and dedication led Donald Hess to Mount Veeder and other parts of the Napa Valley to craft world renowned wines.
Tasting Notes:
Serve between 16°C – 18°C
Full-bodied and shows classic characteristics of red fruit flavours set off by currant and blackberry with well-integrated tannins, for a round, plush mouthfeel. Finishes with distinct notes of vanilla and oak spice.
Pairing Notes:
Pairs well with herb roasted chicken, grilled pork, caramelised onions and eggplant and is the perfect accompaniment to aged Jack or Gouda cheese.
